His twin sister is not far beyond. I'm so proud.

He even waited for his daddy to get home from work to do this marvelous deed and then did it right in front of both of us. He walked from one toy to the other. His father noticed him "reaching" and told me to turn around, and then HE DID IT.

HE WALKED TWO STEPS ON HIS OWN!!!

Eleven months ago today he came into the world. He was 4 lbs, 3.5 ounces. His sister, born two minutes before him, was 3 lbs, 15.6 ounces. They were born at 32 weeks, 3 days gestation (two months premature). He spent 13 days in the NICU, while his sister was there 19 days.

Last week he weighed 22 lbs, 14 ounces, while his sister weighed 22 lbs, 5 ounces. They are at the top of the growth charts for height, head circumference, and weight for *actual* (not adjusted) age, and are meeting/beating the milestones for their *actual* age.

I am stunned, amazed, awestruck -- I can not believe how much I love these two beautiful babies.

No pictures. Just happiness (and this despite the whole family fighting a nasty cold at the moment).

He *WALKED*.

I am so proud of him. And his sister is only a few days behind in this -- she crawled first, and she's starting to do the "let me balance" thing.

Its all going so quick -- where is the time going???

:bounce:  :woohoo:
