OK, maybe the halftime show wasn't the greatest rock spectacular in history.

Fine.

I've gotta think that a great part of the appeal is that these guys still look good after all these years. Hell, they look in better shape than some of these BOY BANDS! They give hope, IMHO, to those who would easily write them off as old has-beens. You can pass 60 and still rock and not look too ridiculous.

Now, this is coming from the perspective of one who has watched in near horror, to the point of looking for the nearing rock to crawl under, as some of the greats from yesteryear climb on stage today and try to reclaim that old glory, and they're just too done. Come on, I know some of you have watched those oldies shows during PBS pledge week or the Jerry Lewis Telethon; you know what I'm talking about!

So, cheers to the Stones, rock on, rock on.
