Your compassion over the unexpected loss of Bronson has been a soothing balm for us all.

Bronson was in excellent health. On Saturday, my house mate Jon was playing with Bronson and his two litter-mates ~ Morgan and Chloé. They all seemed fine. His lifeless body was discovered early this morning by my house mate, Cherie. From the position of his body, head resting peacefully between his paws as it often was when he slept ... it appears that his passing was painless. It has been terribly hot with the heat index reaching 105 degrees for days. We believe that Bronson's death was hastened by the heat in his shady enclosed yard.

Bronson was large for a Golden Retriever, over 150 pounds of pure LOVE. He never knew fear, hunger or thirst. He sired 3 litters in his brief lifetime so his father Lord Byron's lineage will continue.

We purchased a White Chiffon Rose of Sharon and four Stargazer Lilies to plant over his resting place, in honor of the purity and sweetness of his unconditional love.
