The rest of the parking lots were pretty empty. I think people are spending on the kids and a nice Christmas dinner. I know that's what we did. There just wasn't any extra money this year.
About two weeks ago, I was surfing the channels and landed the Beltway Boys(Fred Barnes and what's his name). They were popping the champagne corks and telling people that this will be the best Christmas in years. I've noticed that in the last couple of days the MSM seems to be scaling back their predictions. Now they're telling us that the gift cards will pull this Christmas season out. It's going to be interesting to see the after Christmas figures.
