One of the things that burns me up about the constant DLC-bashing around here is that the progressives have their own damn organization exactly like the DLC.

Of course, it's almost never mentioned on DU, and never by those wailing in horror that the DLC has done this or that. In fact, a superficial look in search the other day found just TWO threads promoting the group during all of 2005...and both were in January and sank neglected like stones.

If those wishing to promote a progressive point of view were to promote their group, its proposals and programs and events, perhaps they would find common ground with DLC supporters. But where's the fun in that?
