5. Halliburton probably had the contract in Afghanistan
so there was money to be made. There's no profit in bring in food and water to the people in NO. Also, since most of those stranded are probably poor and have the wrong color skin, they don't count as far as the current administration is concerned. If rich white people were stranded, you can bet things would be a LOT different.
