We see Bush's approval rating sink lower and lower, and some indication that the Republican members of congress are getting a little concerned that the stigma will rub off on them before the mid-terms next year.

But the Democrats aren't gaining ground at anywhere near the rate the Republicans are losign it.

And why is this?

Because there are too few who seem to be willing to take a hard stance on anything of any import to average Americans. They are conspicuously silent on so many issues that we talk about every day.

We're beginning to see the faintest hint of a 'no-confidence' vote for the whole kit-and-kaboodle.

How many Democrats do YOU think actually stand for something? How many seem to have swallowed the Repugs' 'go along to get along' poison pill?

I almost hate to recommend something like this, but maybe when Cindy's away from Crawford, a bunch of Democrat legislators should get on a plane and take a trip down to visit Camp Casey...they should show that they support ALL of the protestors, and, in so doing, support the troops for real.

At this point all this country needs is a real firebrand to burst through the illusion and show the world what America is REALLY made of...

We need another Bull Moose. Without someone like this to provide a vent for the growing sense of frustration with our politicians and political system, I fear that when the tide turns for real, it's going to be an explosion...and neither the Democrats or the Republicans will be safe.
