8. I think a lot of people are feeling kind of edgy right now.
I see a lot of it lately. Lots of fear about the future, lots of anger, lots of dread. I'm very glad to hear you aren't feeling it around anyone in your immediate circle (those you love.)

Mac, I know you are ex military, and I can't begin to imagine how it must feel to see what the Asswipe (I don't use his name if I can avoid it, so I have my OWN neurosis going--it isn't just you!) is doing to our country. You gave up a lot to serve, as have all our military people, and it must cut to the bone to see our nation being raped the way it is.

I have a faith in the American people. I honestly think that the people of this country will figure it out and they will show the same resolve and passion that they did after Pearl harbor and after 9/11. Only THIS time the passion will be directed at fixing the mess created by the current regime.

We are capable of amazing feats in this country, and we have done some pretty astounding stuff in our history. I don't think that spirit is dead and I don't think it CAN be extinguished by some idiot that can barely speak the English language.

Keep the faith. We will come thru this. Guys like you paved the way for it, and we won't go astray now.

Peace to you, brother!

Laura
