The plan is not to invade, but to bomb selected nuclear and military sites. The neocon geniuses believe the bombings will fan the flames of long-suppressed longing for liberty in the military and among the people, resulting in a military coup/popular uprising that will unseat the hated mullahs (or as W calls them, the moolahs). Has Sy Hersh ever been wrong? I don't think so.
