about alternatives and you are right, small steps won't work. This is the only way to get these messages out to the masses. The press will not cover it or will make it sound "partisan" if we don't do it in an aggressive way. It will happen and pass out of view. If they do what you are talking about there will be little other news and the issues will automatically become the news, not so much the Dems, but the issues because people will be forced to look at it. I am liking your idea more. This has gone on too long for there to really be any other way. Normally I would not advocate this type of thing but this is not a normal situation. Go for it.
