239. SF sucks
You have to sell your firstborn to live there.

Median home prices are half a million. Yes, that's right, MEDIAN.

All my friends who live there spend everything they make on rent. No possibility of saving anything. That's just bullshit.

Also, it's the filthiest city I've seen in the US. Way filthier than LA, even. Streets covered with piss and other, unidentifiable, fluids and substances. The place reeks. Garbage all over. Everything's covered in graffiti. Homeless, drugged out, and crazy people everywhere. The parks are all crowded with homeless and full of turds and syringes.

Every time I go there I want to throw my shoes away when I get home.

The worst part is that there are a *LOT* of well dressed, affluent people walking around amidst this too, especially downtown but even in what *used* to be the "poor" neighborhoods, like SOMA.

There are other cities and towns in the bay area I'd love to live in, but not San Francisco.
