9. uplifting report
At a recent event here in Traverse City MI (Governor's Breakfast) some Kucinich supporters had a table of campaign stuff. One saw my Dean button on my purse and asked me if I'd like a Kucinich button to go with. :-) She was really nice and I had a great conversation with her and a couple more Kucinich supporters. It may have helped that I made it known I thought highly of him right when we started chatting. I also cited my concerns that the country is so far right at this time I didn't think he was electable becasue of that. They willingly conceded the point (the country's gone to the right) and quickly told me they'd be backing whatever Dem got the nom. We both wished each other luck an said we looked forward to working together in the GE regardless of candidate.

It was a very uplifting experience. Funny how sometimes the supporters of "peaceniks" (haha) can get along so well in spite of supporting different candidates.

Great report LTH. :hi:

Julie
