33. I believe in most states
a politician can do what ever he wants with his 'war chest' if he/she doesn't spend it all on their campaign.

Bu$hler is making sure he enriches himself and his friends as much as possible during his 4 year term and bankrupting the US Treasury in the process. Since Bu$hler can't sit on the boards of any of corporations while he's pres, he can only make some extra money by raising money for his campaign. Now it makes sense why him and Cheney are so concerned and dedicated to fund raising as much as possible, but could care less what anybody thinks about them.

The damage Bu$hler has done to this country and the world, will be extremely difficult to repair. They know this and don't care. Their mission is to destabilize the world and keep their 100's of 'regional' conflicts going for the rest of the century. This is how they enrich themselves, this is how they make their living.

If Bu$hler blows it and doesn't get reelected, he will be delighted to be out of the limelight. He can go sip martini's with Kenny Boy and Osama and gloat about how easy it was to destroy the world.

In the meantime the machines are fixed to make sure the repugs keep the House and Senate, so even if a dem wins the WH, they won't be able to get anything done anyway.
