A local "news" station, KMBC-9, in Kansas City, Missouri ran a poll on its site a couple of days ago. It asked "Who will get your vote in the 2004 presidential election?" Here are the results:
President George W. Bush 5623
41% The Democratic candidate 3950
28% A third party candidate 142
1% I'll vote against Bush, but I'm not sure where my vote will go. 4157

Kansas City is not known as a bastion of liberal politics. Consider its latest poll (click on "Politics":
