jerking off for its first five minutes with Matt Lauer at the Panama Canal (no story, just Matt).

Election Day, "We don't torture," Paris is burning, Scooter, Downing Street Memos, Iraq/2,055 dead soldiers, terrorism in Australia, budget deficit, housing bubble popping, and more, much more.

Edit: one-half hour later on "Good Morning America". Race to the bottom. "Who is Mike Bartz?" segment. To paraphrase Jack Benny, "There will be a moment to allow the audience to ask 'Who cares?'"

Is there no escape from this dribble?
