Election stolen stuff. Why would Dodd fight Kerry on this? [View All]

If indeed this is happening. Chris Dodd sponsored HAVA and has been a pretty good advocate for voting rights. (He had strong objections to the Carter-Baker commission endorsement of Voter ID.)

I know that Dodd doesn't think much of paper ballots. (He claims they are the easiest of all voting systems to tamper with.) But I do't see him as being the obstacle in the middle of the road of election reform.

So, what gives on this? Anyone here know more about Dodd and what would lend credibility to the idea that he is an obstacle to a Dem idea that last years election was stolen?
