unless some naive newbie goes off on an unprofessional tangent for a single cause or idea that the electorate sees as a sign of goofiness- our principles and agenda are darned positive and attractive across a broad spectrum of government as service, civil rights, democracy and compassion. The other side has to fake it with old con games that should be faced down and laughed off to oblivion.

Smart politics is NOT showing non-leadship cowardice or evasion, spite or fear or sterile competency credentials.

We have only to be sincere and not naive because our values are genuinely better and can cut through the coded and memed crap as if they don't exist- so long as we are not afraid and not constantly on the defensive against palpable lies.
