POS into our camp? The man is an avowed Xtian. The Xtians can have him, we don't want him.

I find it interesting when people opine that "bush/cheney/fill in the blank with the name of an avowed Xtian aren't acting like Xtians." What Xtians would you be talking about? They act pretty much like most Xtians in this country today and a good number of avowed Xtians throughout history. Do you mean to tell me that none of those holy wars were actually fought in the name of Christ? Do you mean to tell me that Rome's anti-humanistic policies don't reflect the teachings of Jesus?

I don't know it you're religious or not, but I think it's time for Xtians to own up to their living legacy of xenophobia, racism and intolerance. Embrace the horror! Take the bath water along with the baby.

Jesus said that he came not to unite people but to set family against family, brother against brother, parent against child (Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword. For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law. And a man's foes shall be they of his own household. He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me. - Matthew 10:34-37). That about covers it. Where is there any ambiguity in those words?

Based on that little morsel, I'd say that bushco and their born again allies are fulfilling Christ's wishes to a tee.
