The news out of the war zone wasn't all that good, perfectly awful, actually, so fire the guy who shoves reality in your face. Smart move, NOT.

Then put in a PNACer who will appropriately whitewash (you should excuse the phrase, no racial commentary was intended) all the "news" out of Afghanistan and bingo! Eternal War.
