I acquiesce to the success thus far of Kerry. His campaigning has improved a thousand percent. So has Edwards.

However, Clark would be a real asset as VP. Edwards forte is on domestic issues. He is a babe in the woods when it comes to the national security apparatus. Kerry is going to need Clark's assistance in this area. Being a war hero is one thing, dealing with the machinations of the intelligence community, Pentagon, and defense contractors is another. The VP office is the center of this activity in most recent presidencies. If Edwards is VP they will be plagued with dirty tricks, back stabbing and crises manufactured in the national security community to change the national agenda and distract the new President from his important domestic charge. If Clark is VP he will dance circles around the enemies of a democratic whitehouse and nip all schemes in the bud.
