Finally, in addition to the above, I would suggest a really easy and simple way to end the war. Dennis Kucinich already said it: De-fund the war, take the money out of the loop and the war will end INSTANTLY. Just leave enough to bring the soldiers home. If the US is OUT of Iraq, the temperature will immediately be turned DOWN and the violence stopped.
