I remember waiting for my buddy to get done at the restauarant/bar he managed and his walking by me and asking "What is that on CNN?"

"Princess Di apparently died in a car crash"

there was a moment of silence between the two of us and then a collective groan

"Well I guess we know what we are going to hear about for the next FIVE YEARS OF OUR LIFE!!!"

We laughed.

Death by fame.
