People who are incredibly nice think I'm sweet. People who are not so nice don't. Maybe good people bring out the good in others, while people who may not be as good bring out the worst in me?

Sorry about your family problems, DD. Sometimes, we need strength to deal with our families of origin. Sometimes, we need also families of choice to give us that strength. Sometimes, we need a counselor or pastor. I suggest that you make having what you need a priority. Line it up when you are not in crisis, so it is there for you should a crisis come.
