to vote and to vote in their own self interest. The majority of lower income people who would be the most negatively impacted by this voter ID law do not and did not vote when no ID was required.

Yes it is good if we can help them with the ID situation, but it is imperative that we convince them of the importance of voting. It does no good for them to have the ID if they choose not to vote.
