6. Perhaps the Clinton administration could be an example.
Clinton cut taxes for the middle class and raised them for the wealthiest. When Clinton was elected America was in severe recession on a downward spiral. Every single Republican united against Clinton's Proposed Budget and said it was impossible to raise taxes during a recession. It would lead to the complete economic collapse of america. Clinton's Budget was passed by one vote, Al Gore's, and America went on to experience the "Greatest Economic Expansion in History" and the "National Debt Clock" was turned off for the first time in decades.
