all this time are all waiting on her to exit this stage so they can give her an understanding about how things are done.

First, she has to be able to come out of these investigations with a clean slate and that ain't happening. Ted Stevens' legacy has locked a millstone around her neck and she's quite unaware that she doesn't have the key to unlock that lock.

Second, she has to be able to withstand a national primary, which I doubt she would do. The thugs smearing her to get her out of the way will be sport for them. She doesn't understand how things in the lower 48 work in real life. Her insulated exposure to the crowds who come see her mean nothing--she's going to have to put boots on the ground and campaign hard in every state--and she has already proven that she doesn't like to do hard work. She likes stepping in and taking credit.

She had her chance and her big mouth blew it.
