1. The sentence needs to be doubled due to all the trouble
he's caused, lying about his relationship to Abramoff, forcing us, through the FBI and other agencies, to investigate him and spend all that money.

The sentences for betraying public trust, ala "the dukestir," are way too lenient.

If they admitted and owned up to their indiscretions right away, then the basic sentence applies. If they jack us around, claiming innocence, when they damn well know better, calling us liars, insisting that they, themselves, are little godlets, incapable of the sin they are accused of and they know they did, then the sentence is doubled or tripled.

Also, all accumulated wealth should be forfeit and they should be publicly humiliated, weekly, as a cautionary tale for others.
