Remember Falloujah? This has been tried before.

They will wrap Baghdad with barbed wire going all around it. Install check points at all major roads leading out. They will set up a curfew, no one is allowed to go outside after 9:00 p.m.

There will be tanks cruising the streets.....loaded guns aimed at.....everyone. People will be fuming, absolutely seething in the August heat.

Meanwhile.......the urban guerrillas will be biding their time.....They are a Captive Population now, and they are all of one mindset....

Last but not least, you have Muqtada Al Sadr running the show in Sadr City.
