*CO was in on the planning and backed Israel so as to goad Iran or Syria into the fray. I still believe the whole intent of this conflict was to draw Iran and Syria in so that the U.S../*CO had an excuse to continue its Neocon dream. The talking points were out there early from the likes of Newt on MTP with his WWIII comments. That is what they wanted. They didn't anticipate the strength of Hezbollah nor that Syria and Iran would practice restraint and not be drawn into this. *CO wanted all this to happen before the Nov '06 elections - to secure their hold over the Legislative Branch of our government.

Again *CO failed (Thank God)in their planning. They plain and simple got it wrong again - which has become a trademark of theirs.

Ohmert's government will go down in flames for this and *CO will skate again only to have a second chance down line.

Let's just hope that *Co won't do anything stupid in the next 87 days.
