5. Republicans are lying to the poll - takers
They're telling the person with the clipboard what they want to hear, that Republicans will vote for their party's nominee. The reality will be that many will stay home on election day and Steele will go down by double - digits. Most Republicans will never ever vote for a black person even if that black person is the GOP candidate. The Republican party stands for two things: concentrating raw naked power in the hands of a wealthy few and paralyzing fear of non - whites. If you need proof just look at George Allen next door in Virginia. It hasn't been Republicans denouncing him for publicly calling an American of Indian descent a slur that means "monkey boy."
