Grass Bush

Pile the bodies high in Austerlitz and Waterloo Afghanistan
Shovel them under and let me work--
I am the grass; bush; I cover all.

And pile them high in Gettyburg Afghanistan
And pile them high in Ypres and Vedum Uruzgan and Kunar province

Two years, ten years, and passengers ask the conductor:
What place is this?

I am the grass bush.
