Israel threatens to stop withdrawal

"Israel says it will stop pulling out of Southern Lebanon unless
Lebanese troops move there within days.

Israeli Army Chief of Staff Dan Halutz says the country could withdraw
its forces from Southern Lebanon within 10 days, but only if the
Lebanese Army deploys quickly within the area."

One problem facing the Lebanese Army of course is that the roads
to the south have been bombed into oblivion and have to be cleared
before the Lebanese Army can move.
