The United States did not write a law in the Iraqi constitution that it's legally o.k. to murder homosexuals AND murder the victims who were raped by pedaphiles.

You're really extrapolating the situation here to a highly radical degree if you believe that's something we wrote into their laws. NOT that this situation here isn't serious. But that's not the topic.

I'm seriously not trying to be dismissive either. But for someone to basically say "it's silly to think that the United States wrote the law that it's ok to murder homosexuals and murder victims of pedophiles" isn't really that outrageous. And I don't think it's fair to blast someone for being insensitive to the seriousnous of gay civil rights and hate crimes in our country when that was not within the context of their statement.
