Computer software engineers and programmers have many entrepreneurs among their ranks. To me that seems a field one could adapt and grow into all kinds of spheres.

Ten years ago I had no functioning relationship using complex computer diagnostics and Diesel truck repairs. Now 25-30% of my time is spent working on that marriage between the two and my employment situation is more secure than it ever has been (with 30 years as a truck mechanic). Like it's even fun to laugh at the idea my current employer would even think to try and lay me off. I would be able to pick up a job tomorrow if needed.

Yea, I have lived on only 20% of what I make, probably could now but that is not anything I worry about now. The desire to be like others is what often cripples people
