I'm serious. My maternal grandfather was a Ukrainian Jew who came to Ellis Island when he was 8. Childhood friends of ours in CT and NY still had tattoos - on their arms and on their souls - from the camps. Others had family murdered by Stalin's regime. How is that right?

I don't want to cause thread creep, but since you brought it up in relation to the state of affairs for the (D) party, does ANSWER's opposition to the war, and the administration in general, trump their ideological stance?
