106. I doubt Miller will be the last.
Any thread touching on the south usually degenerates into redneck bashing and general statements how barbaric and stupid the people there are. The most smug and hateful posts can be made against white southerners and nobody is shocked.

Since no one region of the nation has a monopoly on these factors, why be surprised when regional loyalty to the party fades. Miller himself warned of this in his book, which made valid points how the national party was writing off the south.

There is more to the country then California, New York, and inner cities. If the concerns of the other people aren't addressed by democrats, why be shocked or upset when they look elsewhere.

Did NOBODY pay attention to, or learn from the exedous of democrat voters and elected officers during the Clinton years.
