I recall a time when cops were aiming infrared guns at houses and helicopters flew over our backyards. All in the name of cannibis. A substance debatably no more harmful than coffee. And when a bust meant turning someone's house upside down. And when one solitary single seed meant forteiture of property. I remember these things. I remember Pete Wilson's little shit scheme of "smoke a joint, lose your license".

But when it comes to helping people with those same tax dollars, FORGET IT.

War is money. Helping is a big waste of time. In a republican America, that's the way it works.
