Blast heard in Aqaba port-Al Arabiya TV

DUBAI (Reuters) - A blast hit Aqaba port on Friday, Jordan's interior minister said, Al Arabiya TV reported.

The television quoted Interior Minister Awni Yarfas as saying that the cause of the apparent blast was not immediately known. Earlier Al Arabiya quoted witnesses as saying the explosion took place near a U.S. vessel.
