...while I can't see through a woman's eyes, I do try to do the right thing as much as I can. My main objection to what you've been saying, is that you are (or at least it comes across as) smearing an entire genre of music unfairly. Just as the performers that denigrate women do it to an entire gender. I'm not comparing your views, intention or attitude to their's btw.
I do believe that women have it much tougher than men, worldwide. There is injustice on an appalling scale. This is why I donate to Planned Parenthood, played at Rock Against Sexism benefits, been an abortion clinic escort, and helped my fiance with Take Back The Night Rallies (though I didn't march at the latter, because I was requested not to). It's just that you seem to think that you have to search mighty hard to find rap/hip-hop that isn't sexist. It is hardly the search for a needle in a haystack that you make it out to be. That's all.
