He was the Senator that could not bought, nor scared and would stand his ground. He also had a powerful voice AND had the ear of the people. People believed Wellstone and believed in him. He was also gaining in all polls against the miserable fucking cretin kkkarl rove had picked to run against him. Senator Paul Wellstone stood in the way of illegally invading and occupying Iraq. Forces knew he would not keep quiet. So they took him out.
