largely due to the Iraq occupation being even less popular in Britain than it is here. The pullout can't be construed in any other way than it's an attempt by Blair to offer an olive branch to the people of the UK in an attempt to save his party majority. Of course, Dick's talking points from the AEI or Heritage Foundation say otherwise...what a load of BS!
