Jeb Bush: 'God Has a Plan' for Me

Florida Gov. Jeb Bush insists he doesn’t know what he will do when his second term in office ends in January 2007, but he says: "I happen to believe that God has a plan for all of us.”

Bush – who is barred from seeking a third term as governor – has repeatedly told anyone who'll listen that he isn't running for president in 2008.

"My plans are really up in the air,” he told a group of 300 high school girls at a gathering in Tallahassee. "I really take my job seriously. It’s like the greatest thing I ever had a chance to do so I want to finish strong.”
Bush’s remarks came amid increasing talk by Washington insiders about a possible McCain-Bush ticket in 2008.
