Wonkette: MSNBC's Tucker Carlson voted off "Dancing with the Stars"(video)
Edited on Thu Sep-14-06 11:33 AM by DeepModem Mom
....Last night, Tucker was the very first guy voted off Dancing With the Stars. While it is sad that we’ve lost so many opportunities for mocking and derision, it does mean we no longer have to watching Dancing With the Stars.

There’s still no mention of the loss on Tucker’s blog, but we wish to be the first to welcome Tucker back to DC, and to wish him luck in his audition for The Biggest Loser.

And Tucker, now that you’re back to punditry, please also go back to buttoning your shirts all the way.

1. I was SO hoping he would win!
Thinking he might decide to quit his day job and join the Rockettes!

3. I saw it last night
Tucker was actually gracious in his good-bye comments--very complimentary toward his professional-dancer partner. But he was an awful, awful dancer.

4. It is no wonder , , ,did you see the Daily Show?
Edited on Thu Sep-14-06 11:46 AM by Felinity
(possibly it was the Colbert Report)

to paraphrase:

I'm sorry, but anytime a guy sits in a chair with a woman dancing around him, it's a lap dance.

Then he got up and moved, like a Republican-slow, stodgy, uncoordinated, and detached from the reality that he should never ever ever have considered doing that show. Humiliating.

Edit to add youtube link (from Dancing With the Stars, not Daily Show)

13. Ouch! You may be right about that
I checked on the Daily show site, and no clip was available there, and your comment would explain it. Thanks for the input, I guess I need to take notes when I watch TV!

12. He was awful!
And to be voted off before Jerry Springer, you know he had to be pretty bad.
