Tuesday, 9/6: I worked out today--did you?
Hi gang!

I did 35 minutes on the elliptical, and then I went into the weight room and did the pec machine, the chest press and the shoulder press (1st time on those 2 machines since the bursitis kicked in), the lat pull-down, and the leg abductor.

How are you folks going to get your exercise in today?

1. Biked to work
and of course will have to bike home.
Probably go bouldering at the gym tonight

3. I've been biking to work, too,
but I don't think I'll be able to today. For some reason, one of my toes has swelled up and hurts when I walk so I don't think cycling would be very good for it. I thought it was getting better last night but it hurts just as bad this morning. I hope I don't have any trouble using the clutch when I drive in!

2. KB workout at lunch
I'll alternate KB sets with jump rope. I'm going to start working in my 24 kg KB on some lifts. Gotta get ready for the 32 kg next spring :-)

11. Walked five miles on this gorgeous day.
Then did biceps and triceps, along with some stretches. :hi:

5. i did and i hit a personal best today on the treadmill
i did 60 minutes with the incline on 7 and i burned according to the readout 500 calories. I'm pretty excited but my ultimate gaol is to be able to run for 30 minutes.

9. Guh! Since I skipped all weekend, I tried to do a pick-up day today
and it was pretty brutal, but didn't quite leave me feeling I had been sucessful. Oh well, at least I went to the gym. When I skip a day I'm very at risk for skipping the rest of the week.

12. A bit
I did two miles on the treadmill. None of the bikes were free the entire time I was at the club so I gave up on getting one. I did the weights yesterday and my PT recommended I not do them two days in a row so after the treadmill I showered, dressed and left.

I lifted weights and walk 3.5 miles in an hour.
