Tuesday 8/30: I worked out today--did you?
Hi folks

I did 35 minutes on the elliptical, and then I did my knee work. I also did the tricep extension machine, the leg abductor, and the pectoral machines.

I find that the shoulder feels its best when I ice it, then work it. I iced it during my commute in, and then as I used the elliptical it felt wonderful.

1. I did step aerobics, lower body weights & yoga.
I received the marathon training books I ordered yesterday.
I am all psyched to plan my training.

2. I did! My YMCA pool is closed for maintenance so I drove to the
Northside Y to swim. Despite the disruption in routine, I made it and it felt great! One of my best swims yet.

Added 10 lbs this AM to 225. Still low but I'm taking it slow.

8. My goal is a 2X bodyweight lift
has been for over a year. That would be 350. I've made it up to 315 but then keep getting injured. That is why I'm taking it slow. Also trying to lose some weight. If I drop 10 lbs that will mean I only have to do 330.

6. 3.46 mile walk in one hour
Yep, I started walking on the treadmill. I find that it's a much better walk for some reason. It's just harder than walking around the track. Maybe you use extra effort to keep your balance on a treadmill.

15. Indeed
20min/1m on the treadmill and 20min/5m on the bike. I had a few minutes to kill while waiting for someone to get to the front desk so I could get a towel so I did the leg press, the vertical row and the back extension as well.
