Tuesday, 8/16: I'm working out this afternoon--what about you?
My son didn't have a ride to work this morning, so I skipped the gym and waited for him to give him a ride to work.

I'll hit the gym after work (at 4:00). I plan on doing a 30 minute stint on the elliptical machine, and then heading into the weight room to do my usual routine for my abs and knees.

I will post an update when I actually do get this done.

8. Good day on back and arms
Though not as heavy as usual. I think I'm a bit out of practice after an on again off again schedule the past few weeks.

I did a total of 44 pull-ups, though, throughout the session, which is a record - though had I done them all at one time rather than over an 80 minute period it'd be more impressive.

9. Delts and traps.
I'm having difficulty typing, as a matter of fact. The Smith machine shrugs really did me in. I supersetted with drop sets, pyramiding down the plat rack. Great idea at the time. Bad idea in the morning.

10. I did!! I did!! Almost didn't....
...it was a matter of getting started. Just the intial "well, I can work out a little extra tomorrow", or "I'll eat less tonight"..whatever...I got down to it, stretched and jumped onto the elliptical and by 10 minutes in had a good bead going and was happy I forced myself to get to it.
35 minutes later....endorphins and sweat...life felt just a little sweeter!

11. I rode 20 miles, still checking out my bike.
My commute is 17 miles one way so I'm encouraged that I could go further than my commute and still didn't run out of battery. I'm off from school until August 29 so I'm working up to a one-way commute, drive to school and ride home, ride back the next morning and drive home. The days I'll be riding in, I don't teach but work in the tutoring lab so if something should delay me, it's not as big a deal.

I'm having fun practicing! :)

14. WAY to GO!
that is really good news. I hope it becomes a habit for you.

I've actually reached the point where I am lost if I have not worked out.
