West Wing anyone - SPOILER
If you have not seen last night's show, don't read this.
I am starting to like CJ as COS. The way she handles Toby is so funny. She clearly needs Leo though, for those little things like knowing that Jeb's MS needs to be checked through chess games.

Josh's accident with the SUV was great. I wish it would have been a Hummer, that would have been funny.

1. Is John Spencer ill?
I know Leo is supposed to look thin and drawn but Spencer is certainly doing a good job of looking like someone who just had heart surgery!

2. Nope - SPOILER INFO WARNING
John Spencer is fine, according to E! news. Producers realized that ratings are down, and that Martin Sheen is not interested in another year. They are trying to change the cast to keep the show going forward.

Leo returns as senior advisor to Jeb.

POSSIBLE SPOILER INFO ***
There are big plans for the future. Rumor mill says that Josh finds out the Dem governor of Ca is dropping out of the race for the dem nomination, opening to door to the VP runnign w/o challange. Josh quits the White House and runs Jimmie Smits campaign, on the advise of Leo. Don;t know if this is true, but that is what several web sites are saying.

3. That's what I've heard
I think they should run out the campaign to replace Bartlet this year (with Alan Alda vs Jimmy Smits) and then end the show.

The West Wing was about Bartlet/Martin Sheen. When he's done, the show is done.

4. TV people never get that
They will try to do a change of casts and it will fail. With the exception of Law and Order, it never works.

5. ER's managed to keep going
From the little I've seen of it, the show has managed to do well even with all the cast changes.

6. I've never seen an episode of ER
Not one.

I don't know why, it just never reached me.
