World creation and all that jazz
as I put together the next issue of the Stellar Clarion, which is morphing into a writing mag, I came to realize just how complex this is

The mag should be out the first week of December, as it still needs some editing.

It will tackle my thoughts on this rarely discussed area of fiction writing...and have two very raw examples of world creation. I hope they will inspire other writers to seat down and do some of this work.

Once the mag is uploaded, will link to it. After all, it is free

4. Thank you very much for this!
I am currently in the process of writing a fantasy I've been developing for about two years now. I have a "fact sheet", a timeline, maps, and pages upon pages of notes. But lately, I've been feeling a bit discouraged, wondering if the story is worth continuing, despite all the work I have done. Your article has inspired me to keep on truckin'. :-)

5. You welcome, me, on the other hand, after doing some work on Truby's
writing method and doing some serious soul searching came to realize the obvious... I can't do fantasy... my heart is not in it.

So back to writing what I like writing, aka sci fi, social commentary and other items

Not wasted though, at all, I may do short fiction to learn the language and form of fantasy... just not a full novel... not for the moment
