He is DESPISED by the mainstream Jewish community (the Federation types) so he must be doing something right. If you've ticked off the establishment you should feel good about yourself, IMHO...

Welcome to Palestine Awareness Week!!! - Events every day, Monday through Friday, at 7 p.m.
SLU Solidarity with Palestine would like to invite you to an exclusive engagement at Saint Louis University. As part of a week of events designed to inform the St. Louis community of the current state of affairs in Palestine, noted academic and author of five books Dr. Norman Finkelstein will be speaking about the international elements which have led to the continuation and inflammation of the Israel-Palestine Conflict. Dr. Finkelstein is currently a professor of political theory at DePaul University and the author of the highly acclaimed and greatly debated books "The Holocaust Industry" and "Beyond Chutzpah." Please join us as Dr. Finkelstein raises the issues of how international opinion and the media can and have affected the fate of the Palestinian people.
"Bringing to bear the latest findings on the conflict and recasting the scholarly debate, Finkelstein points to a consensus among historians and human rights organizations on the factual record. Why, then, does so much controversy swirl around the conflict? Finkelstein's answer, copiously documented, is that apologists for Israel contrive controversy. Whenever Israel comes under international pressure, another media campaign alleging a global outbreak of anti-Semitism is mounted."
