Snow and Ice in Southern Louisiana?????
Well Hell certainly hasn't frozen over, but it's damn close. What an amazing Christmas surprise for Lafayette and the rest of Southern Louisiana. Snow will continue tonight and into tomorrow, with accumulation of 1 to 2 inches. Front coming in from Southern Texas. Will wonders never cease!!! They are already closing some roads here. We just aren't equipped for ice and snow. We've lived in Tennessee and know snow. So far, this is just fun.

1. Yup, Houston too
Just a little dusting, but it did stick to the ground. I hope they don't get too much more. Houston is a mess when it snows. People aren't used to driving on icy roads.
